Beginning with the driving community around his home in Brenham, Fred has amassed a group of people who call themselves members of the Fabulous Fred Fan Club. So here, for his fans, is Fred’s account of his quest to become part of the United States Combined Driving Team and compete in Kentucky at the 2010 World Equestrian Games.)
My full name is Pecan Mill Fred but I'm best known as Fabulous Fred. I'm the right leader in Mike and Jerry McLennan's team of four horses. I'm working hard to make it to the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky and represent the USA. Other team members are Pecan Mill's Ruff, Tuff, Ready, Tina and Linda Copeland's Donovan and Antone. I'm the smallest horse on the team but I make up for it with my dazzling personality and desire to impress my fans.
